How did Udacity Open New Opportunities to Students?

   As a fresh graduate, I faced what every student would face from challenges and obstacles. In my case, I was feeling even more frustrated because I did not wish to work within my major. 

   During that time, my older sister was studying to get her nano degree in data analytics from Udacity. I was witnessing every step of her journey with her. It was my first time ever hearing about Udacity. Ever since that time, I wanted to earn my nano degree certificate as fast as possible. Because I saw how it opened new doors for my sister and got her a promotion at her job, I knew it would be perfect for me.

   Once Misk Foundation announced the partnership with Udacity, I applied right away and got accepted in the scholarship within days. They had multiple programs such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Programming, and Cloud Computing. I applied for the Digital Marketing Program because I was both interested in digital learning and in marketing, so it was perfect for me.

   Since Day 1 at Udacity, I have been informed of what to expect, how to get the most of the experience, a student handbook for my reference, a program weekly schedule, and finally a platform to communicate in to make sure that all questions were answered and everything is up to date.

   What attracted me the most about the program, is the fact that I will be working on real project that will make me a better digital marketer and from well-known people in the industry. In addition to that, Udacity and Misk have a post-graduate program and a career center to make sure that graduates get the best advice available.

   The whole experience is highly enriching so far. I have set a goal for myself to graduate early and start applying to more jobs.

   Finally, I highly appreciate the opportunity I am given and I will do my best to benefit from it. I advise every student whether they are a fresh graduate or and undergraduate student to apply for Udacity.
